This year’s Digital Tech Conference once again brought together over 600 people on November 30th at the Rennes Opera (France). Amazon, Google, Meetic and Mozilla were among the speakers present at this edition dedicated to voice assistants, food and love tech. For the first time, all of the conferences were bilingual.

Interview: what are the challenges of personal data protection on voice interfaces?

The success of voice search and voice assistants is now well-established. The trend is growing steadily, with users choosing en masse to make their daily lives easier by using devices such as Alexa, Siri or Google. But this popularity also makes it necessary to consider the security of the personal data – and voiceprints – collected by these devices. Yann Lechelle is the operations director of the company Snips, which offers a voice assistant solution that respects personal data. The fourth edition of the Digital Tech Conference includes contributions from the leaders of today’s tech scene, examining topics that include the future of Digital Assistance. A major trend at the moment, these voice assistants equipped with AI are already winning users over. Experts from Amazon, Google, Meetic, Mozilla, and the challengers Snips and Adventiel are coming to Rennes to present an analysis of the current situation and the future of these bots, which can be used at the office, in the living room or even on farms.

Yael Rozencwajg: on the cutting edge of digital food

An unusual profile such as that of Yael Rozencwajg is born out of years of wandering, or out of serendipity – the art of discovering something without really seeking it out, but without leaving everything to chance, by seizing opportunities when they present themselves.
That is how Yael Rozencwajg has operated.
