The Rennes Opera will open its doors for the 4th edition of the Digital Tech Conference on Friday, November 30th. This year, there are three themes, but one single mission: to reveal the future impact of major digital trends. Early birds are invited to sign up starting today for this rendezvous with the future!
“In previous years, we tackled technical subjects such as the Internet of Things, artificial intelligence, robots, etc. For this edition, we have expanded the range of topics by instead focusing on tech’s impact on our daily lives,” says Stanislas Hintzy, Director General of French Tech Rennes St Malo. Claire Hardy, the events manager, adds, “We also noticed that although it was exciting to explore two themes, it was also very limiting considering the wide variety of fields affected by the key emerging digital trends.”
Experiencing tech in XL format
For the 2018 edition, two different packages are offered: Experience (with keynotes, battles and performances) and Experience XL (the same things, as well as a lunch at City Hall and a VIP cocktail at French Tech Rennes St Malo). Of course, reduced-price tickets are also available for startups, students and job seekers.
1 month for “early birds”!
Tickets can be purchased as of today, and Experience XL passes purchased up to June 30th will receive the “early bird” rate. To learn more about the rates, click here.
Digital assistant, digital food, digital love…
Is it possible to spend even one day without assistance, without food, and without love? It certainly isn’t easy! Is it easier to spend a day with no contact with anything digital? You’ll likely agree that it isn’t much simpler. The 2018 edition of the Digital Tech Conference will be located at the crossroads between these two questions. “Digital voice assistance is a key trend in the digital world”, Claire Hardy explains. “’Digital food’ is another broad area that encompasses technologies that impact our lives, from the fields all the way to our plates… And the world of ‘digital love’, with all its mysteries and the questions it raises, allows us to return to the subject of artificial intelligence technologies, a hot topic here in Rennes!”
We promise to reveal a few of the speakers before the start of summer holidays! Talk to you soon!
