OMMA, originally from Moscow and based in Paris this year, is studying jazz piano at the Bill Evans Piano Academy, working on the upcoming release of her album. At the same time, she is developing the musical and technological Playtronica project that transforms any objects into instruments that consist among other things of playing live with plants, recording sounds for installations in Pompidou, at the Garage Museum or at Beaux Arts de Montpellier…
She was also selected in 2017 to participate in the OneBeat adventure, where more than 25 musicians from 17 countries came together to collaborate and (re) compose the soundtrack of the famous film “Koyaanisqatsi” for play in different cities: New York, Denver, Fort Collins, Boise, Jackson.
She released in August 2018 her first album ‘Teplo’ among the English Coastal Haze including the clips Sol Pleureur and Teplo.
OMMA was voted the best DJ of Russia in 2015 by the Radio Follow Me website. The journalists and broadcasters of the Russian radio platform have declared it “the best antidote for depression”. Highly noticed by her SQUID and Chistiy dym clips, her releases on various Russian labels like #InternetGhetto and the PowerHouse label allowed her to shoot in Europe and Asia.
