Artist, designer and progammer

Marc Dubois completed a bachelor’s degree at ECAL (Ecole Cantonale d’Art in Lausanne) in Media & Interaction Design, after which he co-founded Fragmentin.

He began his career as a 3D designer for a communications agency, then turned to the real-time world being drawn to creative programming. Prior to his studies at ECAL, he took the CMS course at EPFL and since 2015 he is also assistant professor at ECAL. In 2018, he co-founded the studio INT, which performs in parallel of Fragmentin, mandates of interactive scenography.

Fragmentin is an art studio based in Lausanne created in 2014 and is composed of artists Laura Perrenoud, Marc Dubois and David Colombini.

Their works question the impact of digital technologies that have been exhibited in France but also abroad, especially in London, Geneva, Zurich and even Rio de Janeiro. By exploring the limit between digital and tangible, their projects question the impact of technology on our daily lives, especially their vocation to anticipate and control it. In this context, their artistic works offer the reception of the random and the unforeseen as an antidote to control.
